Bridging AI and legal reasoning
Correct & scalable legal AI
Our mission is to make law easy to use by solving the technical challenges for truly useful legal AI – not for the few, but rather the masses.
The Technical Challenges
In the legal domain, there is a pressing need for AI systems that are capable of legal reasoning and that are reliable. These systems also need to work across legal areas and borders. What is needed is correct and scalable legal AI. Fulfilling these requirements will enable us to deliver truly useful legal AI to the users and solve their problems.
The Users Problems
From delivering to receiving legal help, everyone in the chain is fighting an uphill battle. The complexities and rapid pace of new regulations make it challenging for both experts and laypeople to effectively use the law. Finding a specific paragraph or using templates is one thing, but understanding how the law applies to a unique situation, considering all relevant legal sources, interpretation and arguments, is quite another. The time and costs for understanding and solving more complicated legal problems are unnecessarily high today. We're solving these fundamental challenges by building new experiences, putting our users first.
The Experiences
We want users to have a seamless experience with the law. Our systems help navigate complex legal challenges, identifying relevant issues and using legal reasoning to provide precise, useful answers and actionable insights. Through tailored systems, we assist with tedious tasks - from risk and compliance assessments to analyzing interpretations, arguments, and documents. While there is no one-size-fits-all solution in the legal field, these are the foundational experiences that our systems will enable via our partnerships and platform.
The Systems
We are currently developing early versions of our AI systems, which will be tested with our partners over the next few months. Our plan is to scale these systems to solve more complex problems and meet the necessary criteria for truly useful legal AI.
